Forbes Councils 2021 (Virtual Presentation)

The Four Questions Every Conscious Leader Asks

In this session, attendees learned that healing from our past trauma informs our efficacy as leaders. Particularly as women in leadership roles, there are common misconceptions around empathy and vulnerability. Kelly expressed that being unapologetic about our values helps us create more sustainable businesses. She shared with us four questions every conscious leader asks.

• Where am I? (How am I showing up right now?)
• Can I accept where I am? (Can I stay with the emotion?)
• Am I willing to shift? (Beyond wanting to, will I commit?)
• How am I going to shift? (What or how will I change?)

How Can I Help?

Is your organization looking for an agency leadership or growth expert for an upcoming event, whether virtual or live? Let’s talk.

After my first discovery call with Kelly in 2019, I told her that I felt she was part business coach, part shaman. I retained Kelly to support me in scaling my agency, and I can confirm that my initial assessment about her was correct. As someone who has been in the trenches of owning, scaling and selling an agency, Kelly instantly earned my trust as a person who is intimately familiar with the pain points unique to our industry. Kelly’s humanistic approach to business and leadership coaching has helped me understand my own leadership style, the choices I’ve made that have helped and hindered my company’s growth, and most importantly, the underlying reasons I made those choices in the first place. This has been critical to my evolution as a leader, and has helped me see the opportunities for growth with greater clarity. Lastly, Kelly never ends a call without offering actionable guidance that I can implement immediately. I consider Kelly a part of my team and an important member of my inner circle of advisors.
