Friedman LLP Accountants and Advisors presents a training session on everything you need to know about the new financial reporting standards for not-for-profits, which is effective for annual financial statements issued for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2017. During this session, Amish Mehta, CPA, Partner, Not-for-Profit Practice Leader, and Denise McKnight, CPA, Partner, will review the significant changes to the presentation of financial statements. They will also discuss how to prepare internally for these changes in time for December 2017. The presentation will feature a live feed to all of the firm’s New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania offices.

Amish Mehta

Amish Mehta, CPA, Partner and Not-for-Profit Practice Leader at Friedman, has spent more than 25 years providing accounting, auditing and advisory services to not-for-profit institutions. Amish has developed strong relationships with board members and senior management, providing sound financial advice which allowed them to fulfill their missions. Amish also serves on the firm’s Executive Board of directors and is the Chair of the DFK International Not-for-Profit Committee.

Denise McNight

Denise McKnight, a partner at Friedman LLP, has close to 20 years of experience in public accounting. She provides accounting, auditing, and tax services to numerous clients in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, not-for-profit organizations, precious metal refiners, professional service corporations and distribution and manufacturing companies.
