Somatic Intimacy

Embodied truth, held with care.

If intimacy, pleasure, or connection to your body has felt complicated, distant, or heavy, you are not alone. This is a space to return to your body, reclaim pleasure, and rebuild self-trust through consent, nervous-system safety, and gentle presence.

“Somatic sex education assists in uprooting us from domesticated, disembodied, shamed experiences we have been taught to have of our sexuality and wildness, to carefully replant us in the fertile soil of the intimate experiences we are endowed to have.”

— CHRISTIANE PELMAS

How is This Work Held?

Beyond insight alone, we listen for the places real change happens—in the body and in the patterns that have shaped your relationships over time.

To undo the harm of chasing a version of you that is “fixed” or more “acceptable,” we practice coming home to the truth of who you are. We build capacity for presence through small, trustworthy steps, in service of congruence. With the utmost respect, we meet the places that tighten, numb, brace, or go quiet. Your body sets the pace.

This is a space where your yes is sacred, your no is honored, and your not yet is held with tenderness.

A gentle truth

You are worthy of care.
Your body deserves tenderness.
Pleasure is your birthright.
We begin where you are.

Who is Somatic Intimacy Coaching For?

Sacred intimate work is for people who want pleasure and body-connection to feel safer, clearer, and more alive. Many people arrive here with a mix of longing and self-protection—and a desire to come back to themselves with care.

Disconnection and shame
In other words, the numbness, disgrace, or the sense that you lose presence or are not really in your body.

Boundaries and self-abandonment
The lines that feel hard to name, trust, or hold, and a pattern of overriding yourself to keep the peace.

Longing, relational intensity, and repair
Fear, grief, anger, or confusion in close relationships—alongside a longing to feel more at home in yourself and to experience pleasure as aliveness rather than performance. This can also look like rebuilding self-trust after trauma, harm, neglect, or years of survival strategies, or feeling stuck in limiting beliefs about your body, sexual desire, or your own worthiness.

What Might Unfold in a Session?

Sessions are collaborative and uniquely suited to your needs. We begin with agreements and we move slowly, attuning to what you are seeking and what your body is communicating.

Grounding and nervous system support
Centering practices and sensate focus to help you arrive in the present moment.

Somatic awareness and integration
Body-based practices, including tracking sensation, breath, emotion, and impulse, along with integration practices to support you between sessions.

Consent, boundaries, and touch
Somatic intimacy coaching, including time, space, and language for choice and voice, as well as therapeutic touch in support of pleasure reclamation—always guided by consent and what we agree to together.

Consent and safety are the foundation

You can pause, slow down, ask questions, or change direction at any time.

Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed. We move at the pace your system can hold. We stay inside your yes, and we honor your no and your not yet.

Over time, this is how choice becomes steadier, voice becomes clearer, and safety becomes something you can feel, not just something you understand on a cognitive level.

I'm Here to Answer Your Questions

How do you hold the container in sessions?

Consent is the foundation. We move slowly, with clear agreements, ongoing check-ins, and plenty of choice. You can pause, shift, or stop at any time.

We'll have an initial conversation about what's emergent for you and your desired goals. From there, we'll discuss the options and feel into how we might begin our work together.

What does a session look like?

Each session is shaped by what you need and what we agree to together. We begin with intention-setting and agreements, then move at the pace of trust. Sessions may include grounding, nervous system support, somatic awareness practices, consent and boundary coaching (including language for choice and voice), therapeutic touch, and integration practices.

Do you offer online and in-person options?

At this time, sessions are in person only. This work lives in the body and in the relational field, and I hold it best through shared space, consented presence, and real-time attunement. The intake is the best first step, so we can meet virtually, answer questions, confirm availability, and fit.

Is this therapy?

This is embodied support in the form of coaching, communication, and therapeutic touch. When appropriate, I’m open to collaboration with psychotherapists and/or other practitioners within clear ethical boundaries.

Do I have to share details of my story?

No. You choose what you share. We can work with what is present without forcing narrative.

What if I feel nervous or unsure of what I want?

All of you is welcome here. We go slowly, with choice and consent at every step. Over time, we build capacity for clarity, voice, and self-trust.

Who is this work for?

This work is for women, sexual abuse and assault survivors, and LGBTQIA+ folks who are longing for sacred support to return to the body, rebuild self-trust, and reclaim connection and pleasure.
