Sacred Trauma Healing

Sacred Trauma Healing

What would change if you felt solid and free?

Healing past trauma is deep, sacred work. And I’m here to hold people really well as they do it. In-person, I offer one-on-one sessions tailored to what is emergent for you. Our work together is collaborative and always in full support of your desired change. Together, we will work through the layers that life has asked or expected you to hold.

Sacred Trauma Healing

Pulling from a myriad of modalities, sessions can include trauma-informed coaching, Reiki, and intuitive work, and a wide array of tools to help release, move, or transmute trapped trauma in the human energy field (HEF).

Reiki (Energy Healing)

A Japanese healing technique using gentle touch to restore balance to the subtle bodies, Reiki (ray-kee) energy moves throughout the body, which can activate latent memories, visions, emotional release, and deep relaxation.

Cuddle Therapy

Platonic physical intimacy, cuddle therapy offers the experience of connection. Express wants and boundaries while releasing emotion and receiving loving touch.

Cuddlist® Code of Conduct

4. Client and Practitioner both agree to practice consent and attention to personal boundaries at all times.

Who has questions?

Can you say more about Reiki?

Great question! As a Level III certified Reiki practitioner, I act as a conduit to bring balance to your human energy field (HEF). Clients often report feeling a deep sense of peace throughout and after sessions—and in that state, the unconscious mind has a greater ability to bring latent memories, visions, or repressed emotion into a client’s consciousness.

Many Reiki practitioners hover over parts of the body, but I prefer to lay hands on my clients—always with their consent. Prior to each session, I name all of the places where I may be called (i.e. head, shoulders, hands, knees, feet, etc.), and clients let me know if there are specific areas where they prefer no touch.

For those who prefer to know exactly where and when I will lay hands on them, I verbally ask or let them know prior to any contact. Each session is tailored to, and respects the the unique needs of, the individual.

Can you say more about Cuddle Therapy?

Absolutely! I understand that the idea of cuddling with someone new—even in a therapeutic context—can seem unexpected.

Cuddle Therapy is connective and helps people feel less alone. During a cuddle session, the body releases oxytocin, a hormone linked to emotional well-being. For those who don’t often experience human touch or have difficulty feeling safe due to past trauma, professional cuddling can be quite effective because it is non-sexual, reduces stress, and is always in full support of the client’s well-being.

Cuddle positions vary, and everything is a simple conversation in which my clients practice asking for what they want and stating their boundaries—while trusting that they never have to take care of me (because I will ensure my own physical comfort and state my boundaries).

It is beautiful work, and I’m honored to both hold and love people in this way.

What are the tools that you reference?

For Sacred Trauma Healing sessions, I use my training as a base: trauma-informed coaching, Reiki and/or cuddle therapy, and an unwavering trust in my intuitive skills.

I combine those with some holistic tools, such as aromatherapy, traditional bian stone fire cupping, cord cutting, plant sweeping, wild turkey feather fans, sound healing, and lapidary medicine—and it becomes more about a client’s trust in us (me and them) than what might be utilized in a given session.

Zooming out, the components of my evolving practice include conscious communication, energy healing, physical connection, olfaction, detoxification, detachment, plant teachers, sound wave frequency and more. While these may not make sense to many people in the analytical realm, what I create is a container that allows for the integration of trauma or the release of deep stagnation from the auric body, or human energy field (HEF).

Where are sessions held?

I typically work in my space in the Hudson Valley of New York, near the border of Bergen County, New Jersey. Some clients have me travel to their home (for an additional fee).

What should I wear to a session?

For all session types, I recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. If you tend to run cold, feel free to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and/or socks.

I can also adjust the temperature, lighting, and music in the room to your preference. Highly sensitive people (HSPs) always welcome!

How much do sessions cost; is there a sliding scale?

Investing in your own healing is deeply personal decision, and I strive to make this work accessible for everyone.

Sacred Trauma Healing: $150 / session
Reiki (Energy Healing): $125 / session
Cuddle Therapy: $125 / session

If financial support is needed, I offer a sliding scale on a pay-what-you can model between $50 and $100. No questions asked and there are no limitations on the number of sessions offered at a reduced rate.

Can I gift sessions to someone else?

If you would like to gift a single session or a series of sessions to someone in your life, please contact me or use the form below. (I am happy to offer a volume rate for a series of sessions.)

If you would like to gift Cuddle Therapy sessions, I will need to meet with the recipient via Zoom or in-person prior to the session(s).

And thank you for being a kind and generous human.

How do I know what I need?

Good news! You don’t need to know anything about which modality is right for your needs. We will have an initial discussion about what’s emergent for you, your areas of desired change, previous experiences with healing practices, and your comfort level with the various modalities and tools I use. Together, we’ll collaborate on what feels supportive to you for each session—and we’ll be in communication before, during and afterward so your comfort and agency are prioritized.
