Helping creative, media + tech agencies to scale.
After 15 years of starting, scaling and selling my own digital agency in New York, I love helping other agency leaders to do the same. I work with established agencies in the creative, media and tech industries, typically with $3-50M in annual revenue, looking to level-up and committed to investing in the significant growth of their organization.
Are you ready to pop the hood and get to work together—making your agency engine run on all cylinders?
As a consultant, I take a unique and holistic approach to helping agencies level-up (and helping CEOs define the life they want to live). Maybe it’s because I’m the only woman working in this space, or maybe from experience I understand that agency ownership transcends numbers— it’s a journey that can be an emotional roller coaster or lead to a spiritual awakening.
I have two superpowers. Intent, active listening helps me understand the nuances of what’s being said and more importantly what’s not being said within your agency. And my ability to quickly digest and organize complex information helps us get to the root of issues in order to find sustainable solutions.
How I Collaborate With Clients
Working on retainer, I discover patterns throughout the agency via conversations with each and every staff member. It makes no difference whether your agency has 10 employees or 100. Interfacing primarily with agency leadership, I synthesize and present my findings, help increase productivity and profitability—then we devise and implement an innovative business development strategy to bring in more of the work they love—by focusing on inbound, outbound and strategic partnerships.
With non-profits, I work on retainer or on a project basis with development and communications teams to increase income and efficiency. By augmenting the volume, frequency and dollar amount of individual donations—as well as automating manual processes—we decrease reliance on grants, government funding and/or endowments, which can dry up in an instant.
With over 15 years experience in entrepreneurship, business development, project management, branding, web design, technology and digital marketing, I have the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly recognize gaps in revenue streams and workflow automation, make practical and cost-effective recommendations, and implement solutions collaboratively with individuals and teams.
Before establishing Digital Web Consulting, I founded a web development and digital marketing agency in 2003 (sold in 2016)—which was the recipient of several national and international awards for creative excellence and web technology innovation. I also founded a holistic health and wellness company in 2007 (sold in 2011), to educate consumers and help practitioners gain online visibility, as well as to increase enrollment at related educational programs across the United States.
Prior to these entrepreneurial successes, I served as Art Director for an international e-learning platform, Art Director for the web technology division of a financial services firm, and Graphic Designer for a branding and advertising firm. I am the IA & SEO Consultant to Facebook, and have been a consultant to dozens of nonprofits and creative agencies across the country, as well as organizations in the science, education, printing, publishing, luxury goods, manufacturing, distribution, entertainment, healthcare, wellness and technology industries.
I was trained by Al Gore and the Climate Reality Project as a Climate Reality Leader. I’m a proud graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program as well as the Nonprofit Consultants Institute, a member of the Association of Development Officers (ADO), a marketing committee member of Philanthropic Planned Group of Greater New York (PPGGNY), and a volunteer with Soup Angels soup kitchen in Nyack, NY—serving those among the homeless, working poor, or living with mental or behavioral challenges.
